Our Cold to Cosy Homes adviser installed LED bulbs and radiator reflector panels from our free energy saving kit and booked Sarah in for a new boiler. Everything was completed within 2 weeks, and our team also helped Sarah get the best deals on her energy to cut the cost of her bills.

How your gift helps

CAfS’ Cold to Cosy Homes service provides a free energy saving helpline, practical support and installation of energy saving measures to help people like Sarah stay warm and comfortable throughout winter. Last Autumn, our Cold to Cosy Homes service carried out 199 home visits and 231 advice calls (more than doubling the previous year’s figures), helping more residents in Cumbria save energy, money and carbon.

Your donation supports our work towards a zero carbon Cumbria. The case study outlined in this gift card is an example of the type of project your donation will support, but we will direct your gift to where it is most needed. Rest assured that all of the money you donate will be used to support climate action in Cumbria.
