Next steps after your community climate session

If you’ve attended a climate crash course or conversation cafe run by a CAfS volunteer, this page will give you some ideas for taking the next steps.

Perhaps you already knew a bit about climate change before you took part in one of our climate activities in your community. Or perhaps it was all new to you. Either way, hopefully you’re now further along on your journey to taking action to tackle climate change.

But what now? Here are some ways you could continue the journey.

Learn more about climate science and solutions

CAfS runs full-day climate science and solutions courses across Cumbria. Please keep an eye on our events page for details of courses that are open to the public.

Measure your carbon footprint

If you’re going to take action to reduce your carbon footprint, it’s a good idea to find out what your carbon emissions are now. That way, you can track the impact of any changes you make to your lifestyle.
