Government grants for home energy improvements
We can explain, and support you to apply for, a variety of government grants that are available to make your home warmer, more comfortable and cheaper to heat. The main funds are:
- Energy Company Obligation (ECO4)
- Home Upgrade Grant (HUG2)
- Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)
- Boiler Upgrade Grant (BUS)
- Affordable Warmth Scheme
These grants can pay for things like additional insulation, double glazing, boiler upgrades, smart heating controls and installing heat pumps and solar panels. Different eligibility criteria apply to different grants.
Home Energy Pop Up Advice Sessions
This autumn and winter, we’re going to be out and about offering one-to-one advice with our pop up advice sessions. We can talk to you about upgrading (‘retrofitting’) your home to save energy, and answer your questions on things like insulation, heat pumps and solar panels.
