Over the last year, a growing number of householders across Cumbria have taken up our paid energy advice service and report: the “Home Retrofit Planner”. In order to help householders onward through the retrofit process, we are now collecting information on the building and retrofit industry in Cumbria.
If you’ve had work done to your home to make it more energy efficient, we would love to hear about your experiences of the suppliers and trades you used.
We will use your feedback to help us identify companies that might wish to join our network of suppliers involved in retrofit design, installation or building work.
Take the survey.
This survey has 10 questions for each business. We are interested in all kinds of skills and trades including architects, surveyors, installers of renewable technologies, all kinds of insulation work, air tightness work and draughtproofing, ventilation systems, windows, roofing work, and others.
Alongside this, any tradespeople looking to become more knowledgeable can get training in home energy retrofitting and low carbon heat insulation by applying for free or subsidised training. This is under the BEIS Skills Training Competition scheme.
