Transport projects

A feasibility study focussed on the towns of Keswick and Cockermouth which investigates the potential for community-owned (or community-led) solar photovoltaic (PV) installations, electric vehicle (EV) charge points and car clubs. This study has been funded by the Rural Community Energy Fund. We helped a partnership of organisations from across the country install electric vehicle chargepoints across Cumbria and Lancashire. Charge My Street installed community-owned, public chargepoints in places near to houses that don't have off-street parking to make the idea of switching to an EV more feasible in the eyes of residents.
