Meet local vetted installers and get answers to your solar panel questions. We can then support you with quotes and installation.

We are working with Penrith Action for Community Transition (PACT) and Penrith Town Council to bring the Solar Made Easy project to your local area.

Together, we can help you decide whether solar panels are right for your home (or business). If so, we will help you to get quotes from local vetted installers.

Come along to this community event to meet us and the installers. We'll try to answer all your solar panel questions, and if you would like support to get panels, you can register your interest and we'll take it from there.

Can’t make the date? Visit Solar Made Easy for more information and if you are from the local area and would like support, please email [email protected] to register your interest.

Please also visit our Solar PV FAQs if you have questions about solar panels.

Booking:

This isn't a ticketed event, but we would appreciate it if you could book a place, as this helps us to know how many people to expect.

Background:

CAfS is a charity that has been working across Cumbria for 25 years to combat climate change. So far, we have been working with local groups in six communities across Cumbria on the Solar Made Easy project. We're currently supporting nearly 90 households to get solar PV panels.

PACT (Penrith Action for Community Transition) is a sustainability group committed to decreasing dependence on fossil fuels, reducing carbon emissions, helping to build resilience to climate change and restoring biodiversity to nature depleted areas. PACT consists of like-minded and enthusiastic volunteers working together on matters such as energy, transport, waste and recycling, food and nature recovery to make a real difference in the local area.
