We are working with Greysouthen Changing for Climate, Bridgefoot and Little Clifton Energy Hub and the Eaglesfield community to bring the Solar Made Easy project to your local area.
Together, we can help you decide whether solar panels are right for your home (or business). If so, we will help you to get quotes from local vetted installers.
Come along to this community event to meet us and the installers. We'll try to answer all your solar panel questions, and if you would like support to get panels, you can register your interest and we'll take it from there.
Can’t make the date? Visit Solar Made Easy for more information and if you are from the local area and would like support, please email [email protected] to register your interest.
Please also visit our Solar PV FAQs if you have questions about solar panels.
Booking:
This isn't a ticketed event, but we would appreciate it if you could book a place, as this helps us to know how many people to expect.
Background:
CAfS is a charity that has been working across Cumbria for 25 years to combat climate change. So far, we have been working with local groups in six communities across Cumbria on the Solar Made Easy project. We're currently supporting nearly 90 households to get solar PV panels.
Greysouthen Changing for Climate was set up to coordinate resident activity in response to the fast-moving Climate Emergency. It acts as part of Greysouthen Parish Council
Eaglesfield is committed to taking local action to combat climate change, and is linked to Dean Parish Council.
Bridgefoot and Little Clifton Energy Hub is a working group of Bridgefoot and Little Clifton Parish Council, set up to look for ways the community and residents can reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency and thereby reduce carbon emissions.
