The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. It takes place every year in late September and sees groups across the nation running events promoting climate action.

Every year, we compile a list of all the events happening throughout Cumbria during GBGW. They are arranged by the date they are organised for. This year’s Great Big Green Week will run from 24 Sep – 2 Oct. If you would prefer to search for any events happening close to your location, you can do so on the Great Big Green Week website.
