Do you have any clothes or small electrical items in need of repair? Bring them along and volunteers will do their best to fix them for free, and they’ll be happy to show you how they do it.
The Pop-Up Repair Wokshop aims to give your stuff a new lease of life so that you don't have to throw it away and buy new.
There’s a darning and patching specialist, so bring those holey woollies and you can learn how to darn and patch. They love to do a bit of 'visible mending’, but they can alo do invisible repairs if you prefer!
As usual, there will be fab food and drinks available to purchase from the wonderful Kendal People's Cafe which provides rescued food that would have gone to waste otherwise.
If you’re bringing electricals, it would help the volunteers if you could let them know what you're bringing, so that they can make sure they have the right tools. Please contact Karen on 07854 751169 or email [email protected], who can also help if you’d like to discuss any accessibility needs.
