If you’ve got something that’s broken, don't bin it, fix it! There’s a special opportunity in Appleby as part of the Cumbria Green Build & Sustainable Living Festival.
Repair cafe volunteers from the local community will try to repair your item if possible - and hopefully show you how to do it!
Even if you don’t have anything in need of repair, just drop in for a chat over tea, coffee and cake.
There’s no need to book for this event. Just drop in any time from 10am until 1pm.

Accessibility:

The workshop at Appleby Heritage Centre has a combination of steps and ramps. There are short flights of steps with handrails in some parts of the centre.

Travel:

Appleby Heritage Centre is immediately adjacent to Appleby railway station. There are regular trains to/from Appleby on the Settle-Carlisle line. For full details check timetables with service operator (Northern Rail).
The centre is about 10 minutes' walk from Appleby town centre.
Approaching by car, the venue is about 0.6 mile / 1km off the A66 dual carriageway. The station is clearly signed. Once you have entered the train station car park, continue on the road straight down, and the centre is at the end after the car park.
