This tour is perfect anyone who’s considering community-led housing in their area – from community groups to councillors and council staff.
Lancaster Co-housing is a great example of what can be achieved when people come together as a group to build homes that meet their community’s needs.
You’ll learn about the experience of creating and living in cohousing, the homes for sale, some technical details about the ultra-low-energy Passivhaus homes, the communal facilities and the renewable technologies.
Like any good bus tour, there’ll be refreshments and the chance to chat with residents in the Co-Housing Common House.
We leave Penrith at 11.45am and arrive back at 4pm.
This tour is offered free of charge thanks to support from the Cumbria & Lancaster Community-Led Housing Hub.
Things to know before you book:
