A bouquet of local wildflowers, herbs and foliage by Fellside Flower CompanyVisit an Eden flower farm and get an introduction to growing cut flowers for your home, with this relaxed evening event.

We begin with a tour of the Fellside Flower Company flower farm in Long Marton, near Appleby. This family-run farm began in 2017, and grows British seasonal flowers, wildflowers and foliage. You'll find out how to include a cutting patch in your garden, which varieties are best to grow, and how to keep them blooming.

The evening continues with tips on cutting and arranging your home-grown flowers, with some hands-on posy-making for you to take home.

By growing your own flowers, you can reduce the environmental impact of imported flowers and boost the biodiversity of your garden. It's a great way to have your own steady supply of flowers for your home, for a special event or to give as gifts.
