The third of four units in our series of Eco-Retrofit for Householders is all about insulation.

Walls, floors, and roofs are all major areas of heat loss in uninsulated, or poorly insulated houses. For successful retrofit, the fabric elements of a house need to be well insulated. However, there are many different materials that can be used to achieve insulation, and many pitfalls that can hold you back from achieving the level of energy efficiency that you desire.

Event description

In this session you will learn about

  • Why is insulation important?
  • Insulation approaches and materials, including:
    • Walls
    • Roofs
    • Floors
