Eco-Retrofit: Focus on Windows and Doors Unit 1: Choosing doors and windows

High specification windows and doors can be a major expense in a retrofit, so understanding their thermal performance and airtightness is important.

Event description

In this session you will learn about

  • Measuring the thermal performance of windows and doors
  • Comparing windows and doors
  • Selecting the right windows and doors for your needs

Though features of window installation will be touched on, it will not be the primary focus of this particular webinar - the aim is to provide an understanding of all key issues involved. For a more specific session on installation, please see Unit 2 of this course.

Find out about choosing doors and windows with Tina Holt from CAfS and Diane Hubbard of Green Footsteps.
You can book on to both of the events in the course or pick and choose. The link to register for Unit 2 is below.
