Cumbria Sustainability Network: Planning and persuasion

This event is a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues — and meet new ones — who are working on climate and nature initiatives across Cumbria.

Together, we’ll:

• Take part in workshops to identify priorities for the network in 2026

• Explore how we can collaborate more effectively in the year ahead and continue expanding our reach

You’ll also hear:

• An update on the Cumbria Climate Assembly — what’s happened so far with the recommendations, and how the CSN can support Assembly members and encourage wider sign-up to the Charter

• Insights from Climate Outreach on building trust and communicating effectively, especially in the face of rising disinformation and climate scepticism

We’ll also discuss how to strengthen our coalitions, make the network more inclusive, and communicate our shared goals clearly and confidently.

Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided.
