Westogether Harvest Fest: A Celebration of Local Growing & Community Action

Join us for a vibrant celebration of climate action, community and local food at Westogether Harvest Fest – a grassroots event bringing together climate-conscious communities and inspiring projects in West Cumbria.

Hosted at the GoodLives Community Garden at West Lakes Science Park, you’ll get the chance to:

  • Explore thriving polytunnels, a mindful yurt, and outdoor growing spaces

  • Hear from local partners including Cumberland Food Partnership, Growing Well, Groundwork Trust, Garden Organic, and West Cumbria Rivers Trust

  • Enjoy a home-grown lunch featuring fresh, locally grown, seasonal produce

  • Get hands-on with composting demos, upcycling workshops, and more

  • Swap your pre-loved clothes and books

  • Tap your toes to music from the GoodLives guitar group

Organised by the Westogether network – a growing movement of people across West Cumbria working on climate and nature-based action – in partnership with learners and volunteers from GoodLives, a Cleator Moor charity helping adults get back into work.

Whether you’re a grower, a doer, or just climate-curious, come along and be part of something hopeful and home-grown.
