Changemakers of Tomorrow: Youth Climate Leadership Programme

Ready to build your network, confidence, and skills to become a Changemaker for the planet?

Join us for our Changemakers of Tomorrow: Youth Climate Leadership Programme, a free climate action and leadership programme for young people aged 16-19!

This programme is an exciting, interactive opportunity to strengthen your confidence in communicating about the climate, running eco projects, and encouraging planet-positive thinking within your school, college, workplace and community.

Hosted at Brathay Trust in Ambleside from noon on Wednesday, July 23rd to 1pm on Friday, July 25th, this programme will build:

  • confidence and skills for taking part in climate action (climate leadership, climate communication, and having difficult conversations around climate topics)
  • project management skills (with time to plan your own climate project!)
  • connections and friendships to strengthen your network

Throughout your time with us, the teams at Another Way and CDEC (Cumbria Development Education Centre) will co-facilitate sessions with Brathay to bring learning to life, supplying you with practical steps and projects you can take home to your school, college, workplace and community to start making a difference.

The world’s alarm bell is ringing,” says Amy Bray, founder of Another Way. “We have no time to wait for anyone else to change. The time is now. And it starts with every single one of us.”
