Come along to the Westogether Great Big Green Week celebration at the Maryport Settlement on the 12th June, to explore what individuals and communities can do to cut energy bills and switch to renewables and find out more about climate and nature activities in West Cumbria.

Workshops will include information on a volunteer-run Thermal Imaging scheme, details about free Solar PV support and the ECO4 grants available to provide energy efficiency measures and heating upgrades to low income and vulnerable households.  We will also hear more about The Castle Hill Trust and Friends of the Earth's plans to develop the Maryport Settlement into a centre to promote renewable energy technology.

A FREE low carbon lunch will be served by volunteers working with Groundwork's Green Hub at the settlement, as part of the Food Cumberland Partnership's Big Lunch initiative. There will also be an opportunity to catch up with news from other groups working on climate and nature issues in this part of Cumbria.
