Communicating Climate Action - Workshop
This brand new in person workshop will be participative, practical and case study based. It will enable you to work on adapting your communications to the different segments which exist across Cumbria right down to a local level. This follows on from our webinar earlier this year - you can watch it again by clicking here.
It will focus on 3 aspects:
1) Providing a deeper understanding of the 7 segments from the Britain Talks Climate toolkit.
2) Understanding the actual Cumbrian data - after a short training session using it live in the workshop to manipulate the information and practice obtaining the views of data you require.
3) Using case studies, understand, create and adapt your climate messaging to engage specific groups of people which is more likely to enable change.
Organised and introduced by CAfS for Zero Carbon Cumbria, the workshop will will be delivered by Luisa Melloh from Climate Outreach and chaired by Karen Mitchell who is Co-Chair of Zero Carbon Cumbria and Chief Executive of CAfS. Other experienced facilitators will be on hand throughout.
