A half day course for builders, focussing on airtightness when retrofitting, complete with a demo and practical session. Bursary available.

This course will cover why airtightness is an important consideration when retrofitting or extending buildings. Expert speakers will look at design, intelligent moisture management and airtight solutions, and progress on to airtightenss testing, explaining the numbers, when to test, and how to prepare for a test.

This will be followed by a practical airtightness demo, showing how to roll out and fix membrane, and sealing overlaps, windows, floor junctions, penetrations and joists. Delegates will then have the chance to apply the products themselves on a range of demonstration models.
