Increasingly, homeowners are retrofitting their homes to reduce energy bills, cut carbon emissions, improve their health and transform cold, neglected rooms into cosy, well-used spaces. Typical measures include insulation, sealing up draughts, improving controlled ventilation or installing low carbon heating systems.
