A large group of organisations has developed a survey to find out what support businesses need to be able to prosper, while also having a positive impact on people and planet. Transitioning to a greener and safer future will bring enormous benefits to us all as well as improving business resilience.

The group includes South Lakeland District Council, Cumbria Action for Sustainability, Green Small Business, Future Fixers, Lancaster and Lancaster, CBEN, Lake District Foundation, University of Cumbria, Cumbria LEP, Cumbria Tourism and Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and the Zero Carbon Cumbria Partnership.

They are working together with a shared vision to create an integrated programme of support for local businesses to help achieve the benefits of becoming more sustainable. This survey will guide how packages of support are co-ordinated, without duplicating, and make it easier to find help.

The responses from this online survey will help improve the support currently on offer to better meet the needs of local businesses. As this network strengthens, the hope is to co-ordinate efforts with more business support organisations across Cumbria for a greater impact.

The survey is open until Friday March 18th.
